PRINCIPAL
RADOSLAW KUREK
Radoslaw was born and raised in Poland where he studied architecture at Silesian Technical University in Gliwice. Moving to NYC in 2001, he complemented his education with urban design studies. Rad holds a Masters in Urban Design earned under prof. Michael Sorkin.
Rad worked with Vail Associates Architects in NY for seven years under Thomas Vail as a project architect. Completing multiple residential projects, from apartment renovations to new buildings.
In 2007 he moved to London UK, where he joined Rolfe Judd Architecture. With RJ , Rad worked on large scale mixed use buildings, amassing excellent supplement to his work experience.
Rad opened his own practice Rad Design & Architecture in Greenpoint NY, after his return to NY in 2009 and earned his architectural license in 2012.
Rad devotes his time to Office – Family – Sailing.
PROJECT ARCHITECT
Artur stygar
Team member Artur Stygar joined RDA in 2021. Artur earned a master’s degree in architecture and urban planning in 2015 at the Silesian University of Technology. He specializes in the design of large residential, office and multi-functional buildings with a good knowledge of the revitalization of historic buildings.
INTERMEDIATE ARCHITECT
MIKOLAJ SKROBECKI
Mikolaj Skrobecki graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Ithaca College in 2021 and started with Rad Design + Architecture shortly thereafter. He specializes in and contributes to the design of residential, commercial, and medical projects. Alongside architecture, he is also passionate in Graphic Design.
JUNIOR ARCHITECT
JULIAN ALONSO
Julian Alonso is a graduate of The Pratt Institute's School of Architecture, where he was a finalist for the Outstanding Thesis Project award. Joining Rad Design + Architecture in July of 2025, he contributes to design development, FF&E research, and construction documentation on multiple projects, as well as the firm's branding and graphic identity.
