Located in Midtown Manhattan, this apartment is defined by the peculiar curtain wall cornice. As the architects for this project, our job was to rearrange the central floor layout of the apartment to allow for better egress between the bedroom and living room areas. The bedroom corridor and several small closets were demolished, and supplemented by a single walk-in-closet. This allowed for a straight bedroom entrance instead of an angular corridor. We also replaced all plumbing fixtures and redesigned the kitchen area to include a island in an effort to open up the main living room area.
