For Split Eights, a cocktail bar & coffee shop in the beating heart of downtown Manhattan's financial district, we took the spproach of creating a flexible space that could easily transition between day and night, housed inside a narrow area within 40 Exchange Place. Through a harmony of dark woods, warm ligting fixtures, & visual texture, RDA transformed the double-height space into an intimate bar to escape from the hustle and bustle of its context.
