Rad Design & Architecture is a full-service NYC architecture firm delivering ground-up construction, large-scale renovations, and complex approvals for residential, commercial, and medical clients — from single-family buildings to mid- and high-rise developments.

Founded in 2009 by Radoslaw Kurek, RA, Rad Design & Architecture combines the rigor of large-firm experience with the responsiveness of an independent studio. Before founding RDA, Radoslaw spent seven years as a project architect on residential buildings in New York, then joined Rolfe Judd Architecture in London, working on large-scale mixed-use developments. That range — from single-building renovations to multi-use construction — still defines how the firm operates today.

Our team manages projects end-to-end: concept and schematic design, DOB filings and zoning analysis, construction administration, and specialized approvals through LPC, DOT, and condominium/co-op boards. We scale our team and consultant network to match the complexity of each project.
